Stop/Disable Auto Updates
There are two parts to this. The first part only puts it in Auto Update in manual mode. The second part disables Auto Updates altogether. This can be reverted back as necessary.
a. Go to Task Man, Select the "Services" tab, Sort by name and Z-A, Select the "Windows updates" (wuauserv), right mouse button click, Select "Properties", Select "Stop".
b. Select "Properties" again, Select "Open Services", Again, Sort by name Z-A, Select "Windows Update", Right mouse button click on "Properties", Select "Disable"
Why would you want do this? Better control of updates. Windows 10 has a bad habit of upgrading when you least want it to. Manual mode works for most everyone. But there are times when Microsoft will push an update/upgrade (Such as Anniversary Addition) when you least want it to, regardless of whether you are in manual mode or not, the "Disable" action will prevent that from happening.
